She was rather eccentric, more so than euphoric, if she were
to be described, filled with an enlightenment no
others had attained,
while
ensconced within her secretive
realm…
My impetus. Without her, I would be lying within a barren state.
Never, the feelings I have drawn from her would be
replicated.
Always was she more than a delicate indulgence, fragrant
and alluring, one I could never
resist.
I found myself increasingly intrigued by her magnanimous
presence, she, always the object of my
affection…
I remember, she averting her eyes, wanting to retain a similarity
of transparency, with all sincerity, as I felt her
emotional insecurities.
She was such a reclusive
one.
To have held her within a dream, my adoration, the object
of my desire, affording her my complete
undivided devotion…
Were I less than I am, similar to she, nothing more than a mere reflection imprisoned within a sheet of mirrored
glass.
Would she acknowledge my
attentiveness,
or would it remain relatively unnoticed, as it always has.?
Can you escape the darkness which lies within the dark,
what one would find most startling
and frightening…
What you have envisioned, a prelude to the future or a reference
pertaining to the past. For you to have seen things which
have not yet appeared.
And, for you to have heard the echoes of your footsteps,
while revisiting the places where you
have been,
being as blind as I am to them. You have opened my eyes
to what remains within the darkness, impenetrable,
as it is,
seeing things as you have, which I cannot begin to fathom.
I lie drowning within the moments you have realised,
and I cannot begin to grasp all of which
you have….
What remains unspoken, yet unheard, often leaves
one reaching for the next
word.
