remember

your creativity, your cutouts of planets, stars, and moons.

They became a part of your

universe…

You were their sun. You coloured the sun blue, a solitary object

within your red

sky…

I felt you were colour

blind.

You hung your planets, stars and moons in the dark,

in the middle of

the night.

I never knew why…

Another secret you had kept.

Your

stars were the colour

green.

I found it hard to believe, still I could not question your motive,

after all, it was your universe,

your realm,

and I was content

watching you

glow

alone

within the dark…

I remember you colouring a comet purple, the rings of Saturn

the colourings of a rainbow…

You coloured me black,

I became

the dark empty spaces in between….

For years, I have heard nothing but silence. You spoke not a word

as you turned round and round

as your universe revolved

around

you.

You imploded on a Sunday, I wept alone within the dark.

I learned nothing last forever,

not

even a blue sun,

not

even you…

You were always so delusional, living within your illusion,

as you were,

your escape from reality…

I lived

within your dreams, thriving on every breath you took…

My addiction.

I would have faded away into oblivion

without you, as you

have.
