A thought unspoken

Mirrors

reflect our lives, whom we once were and whom we have become,

revealed as being apparent, if

one were to

reflect.

Within

your eyes remain a thought left unspoken, an empty space left

to fill with what words would you find appropriate if one

were to prescribe an emotion you never have felt

nor realised,

one which would bring a tear to your eyes…

Therein lies a lingering silence have you grown fearful of, what

may be brought to mind, a remembrance, perhaps

of a loved one…

Again a lingering silence. What remains unwritten within your eyes,

what words are longing to be scribed. Are you left with no

ink to fill your

pen?

Your hand trembles. You are barely

breathing.

A remembrance of a scented rose, a candle praying to be lit.

a glass of wine left untouched. What do the images

represent,

a romantic interlude, a secret

rendezvous?

What words are left unspoken. A tear lingers within your eyes.
