Always
dressed appropriately
for the occasion which had presented itself,
whether scheduled or rather hurriedly, but in a mannerism one
would find tasteful and not
offensive,
not wanting to catch
one’s ire,
or a disdain look in one’s eyes if it was deemed unfashionable
or thought of as being a distraction, thus disappointing
those who had spent
hours
in preparation, readying themselves to feast their eyes on one
so admired by her peers. Oft-times, she felt it an
embarrassment, having
been
thought of in such high regards, foregoing the difficulties of
having to maintain her appearance if it were to be
well-received, not wanting any and all
improprieties
which she felt was an affront to her individualism, while welcoming
remarks she felt proper and unbiased. Knowing too well
the damage of gossipers words is at her own
expense.
Had
I become victim
of her savagery, regarding her sometimes
reckless behaviour?
I find it difficult to recall, having intermittent episodic tendencies
bordering on madness,
and other inclinations I am beginning to grow quite fond of,
one’s, which may turn an inquisitive
eye and an ire I may not
relish,
referring to my peculiar peculiarities which have become quite
prominent, and are difficult to hide, if found as
a bother one may
displease.
Let them alone to simmer with themselves, I am not here to
bring comfort to anyone, but to bring reason
to what confuses me
most.
