We die a little within each day passing, microscopically, at times,
and sometimes otherwise without
realising…
One’s death is inevitable,
And here you lie: These words spoke while you were struggling
to take your last breath while welcoming your own finality.
Your demise.
Having lived your life to its fullest extent without regret,
praying not a tear to be wept nor
the remembrance
of a loved one’s
sad eyes.
you have evoked a memory in years gone by.
These words once spoke
from upon your
lips…
“We were never destined to become immortal as were the Gods.”
And with that. I am whispering my last goodbye.
This darkness you have chosen to reside within surrounded
by a wall of thorns, whose roses, once fragrant flowering
blooms long ago withered, brings to
thee an everlasting
sorrow.
“Tis the reason you do weep constantly; your tears falling grey
and silent within a never ending rain and I prevented to
offer solace. Mournfully, I do weep for you.
My tears interwoven with your tears.
Together we have woven a
tapestry of
our
eternal sadness. I miss your sounds, your voice within your words
and whispers, your thoughts…
As a rose you wept as you lie slowly withering. My shining star
whose light shone more brilliantly than any other star
within our universe, how pale
the moon…
Comparatively speaking, if I were allowed to speak of you
in such a manner, I would find you as being
as such.
My shining star falling silently through the night. How weakened
I have become without you, You were my strength.
How empty the sky has become. I can only
weep.
