An ode to an angelic persona

You wear it well

Ah,

you wear it well,

your smile, the coloring of your scarlet red lipstick, your eyes,

with a touch of mascara and eyeliner, accentuating

your limpid pools of blue, the scent

of your perfume…

You wear it well,

the night,

which surrounds you, the moon and stars, our sun which revolves

around you decaying within their elliptical orbits,

the paths they have followed forever

a millennium…

You wear it well, the look of innocence you portray, your touch,

I long to feel, your angelic voice

i long to hear…

You wear it well, the magical, mystical mystery which I find

aesthetically pleasing, the dreams you lie dreaming,

beckoning me as I sleep, longing

to converse…

These dreams we have seemed to have dreamed, to find you

sleeping near and besides. Has there been a stellar

convergence,

a plot, a scheme, bringing you and me together magnetically,

gravitationally, in such a manner as would two

opposites attract we are not

repelled.

Ah…Wouldn’t we wear it well?
