Ambient sunshine…She awakens and consoles the moon.
Tears in the corner of her eyes. Was I to have
noticed them?
The hours I spend pondering her dreams…
Silently, she whispers, ” Have you been listening?”
as she queried, wondering to whom she was referring…
How suddenly. A remembrance
The remembrances you have kept within your tears thrice
envisioned, as you slept…
Are these the ones I embraced before they faded away into
oblivion? How easily they have become your melancholy
moments of the past encapsulated
within a grain of
sand.
Reminiscent of the tears you have wept. If only I could retrace
them, their crystalline clear shape.
Stealing time, a moment I had stored away previously.
One is kept in case of an emergency
and is not to be used
recklessly.
Her liquid dreams diluted with her meandering thoughts,
ones are intricately woven into her crystalline
tears…
I wept as she did during that long night as stars fell from the sky,
lithe, as she was, the sweet caress of her kiss,
an unknown passion
never
could I quench and she, whispering silent soliloquies which I
could never translate, leaving me with
more to wonder.
