Triyana Travel club story

Versatile. A perfect juggler. The balancer. We know a woman has many virtues. In today’s time and age, where the society is not just cosmetically changing, but the mindsets to have progressively improved. We see a woman taking the front seat, steering the ship of family and life beautifully. Witnessing this change in society and growing with it, Monuca Arora, Founder of Triyana Travel club, made sure her life doesn’t vaporize by being a full-time mommy but balances it with her desires and interests. In this article, she describes why motherhood should not hinder but motivates a woman’s growth!

Her extended family expected her to stay at home and do the normal ‘take care of the family.’ But, thanks to her supportive husband, Monuca listened to her calling–her love for traveling, says Monuca founder of Triyana Travel club story.

It’s like an infant taking that first step to walk. Monuca took that first step out of the threshold of family routine and wrote her journey with passion, focus, love, and determination. Yes, her kid was small; countless responsibilities come with the tag of a mother. She had to fulfill all of them. But as it is rightly said that when you are pretty clear inside, and you genuinely wish something from your heart, the entire universe conspires to make it happen for you.

Monuca, with her supportive husband, balanced things out, and she could do what she loved the most–Travel! Her first trip was a difficult and teary one as she felt guilty of leaving her 2.5-year-old behind for a few days. Well, with time, husband too had learned to be an independent father, and Monuca perfectly could now juggle between the responsibilities of a wife, mother, and a professional!

She internalizes we being parents keep telling our kids, “follow your dreams,” “do something great in life”… But we are not setting an example for them. A parent feeds them with thoughts of following their dreams. But they, especially mothers, aren’t doing anything to show them how. It is so essential for kids to see parents doing what they like, balancing family, and taking up challenges. So what, even if we fail in some, we should share our failures and achievements both with our kids. It will help them move forward without the baggage of winning or losing.

A parent feeds their kids with thoughts of following their dreams etc. but they, especially mothers, aren’t doing anything to show them how. It is so essential for kids to see parents doing what they like, balancing family, and taking up challenges. So what even if we fail in some? We should share our failures and achievements with our kids. It will help them move forward without the baggage of winning or losing. Sharing failures makes kids realize that failure is a part of the journey called life!

We all get our inspiration from actual stories. Not only do we get encouragement, but also get ideas on how to manage and balance life. One beautiful day, Monuca realized why should a family be a hindrance to how the people whom we love so much can be a hurdle for us in our journey.

“Why cannot I travel with my kid?!” This thought boggled her mind.

She believes we draw our strength from our children, partner, and family. But society has conditioned our minds in a way that we feel traveling with kids is something next to impossible. Hearing her friend’s story has been an inspiration for her. One of her friends has explored seven countries with their small kids. Giving such an environ helps kids develop and learn many excellent development skills. Her friend’s 3-year-old can do short treks at such a tender age and is already very confident.

At present, through her dream project, Triyana–a Ladakh travel club encourages every parent to travel with kids to such offbeat places. Not only this, she is encouraging the woman and mommies to go on solo travels.

As individuals and parents, it indeed is essential to keep have progressive thinking, to question societal myths, and always to ask ‘Why not?’ Travel with your kids, expose them to newer places, keep their curiosity going on, and they will become settled, content from inside but dynamic in their outer expression.

Triyana Travel club story says:

Hey mothers! It’s time you take out time for yourself to live your dream. Take that first step! Overcome your fears, your worries, and you’ll see how life will unfold for you beautifully.

Stories are the best way to communicate. If you want to know a person, know their story. You will understand the person, rather than going by the gestures and the dressing sense.

Do you also have a story that you want the world to know, then share it with us at submitstories.storyofsouls@gmail.com.

We are also giving mileage to young students who can be our young authors by  sharing their already written content with us, that will go live with their name credits.
