During their stay, they booked five hotels (all five-star).
All his relatives, who accompanied him, shopped in expensive Malls every day and bought things for lakhs and lakhs of Rupees.
The bills were to be paid by the entire State Department.
This same story continued throughout the course of Manmohan Singh’s tour.
All Indian employees of the State Department used to dance for them.
Manmohanji never visited the Embassy throughout the entire course of his tour.
The entire staff was expecting the same show when Modiji visited Germany twice as Prime Minister.
But he left all the staff surprised
He visited Germany, all by himself
There was no army of relatives following him
Only one floor of the hotel was booked and that is to ensure the Prime Minister’s Security
He did not engage in any shopping and leisure activities
They are busy with work full-time.
Staff at the Embassy were not allowed to do chamchagiri;
Instead, the office staff continued to carry out their daily tasks.
Three days passed before we could go home because we were so busy collecting and organizing the data.
