inadvertently have lost or misplaced, comparable to what
one has written of a loved one within
a eulogy…
To have read the words deeply etched, an embodiment of tears
within an epitaph; whispering’s of one,
long gone by.
More than miracle, the images which remained lingering within
one’s eyes. Those which have been choreographed and
categorized and catalogued, within a roll of
Kodachrome film.
one’s re-enactment, a repertoire of memories and dreams,
and we, but actors
and actresses, portraying our lives. If one were to visualize,
upon a brightly lit stage.
Had It escaped me, all of which I fail to recollect, all of which I had
lost during my unscheduled absence. I seem to have lost so
much, the increments of time, bespeaking of the
duration and all of which
it may have entailed relating to which incidents may have and may
have not occurred. And what if it had led to one’s ill thoughts
and misgivings; feelings
whispered beneath one’s breath. Am I not to become aware of it,
am I to regret my incursion bordering on the realm of insanity,
Referring to my momentary escape from reality…
I was not myself. In regard to my madness. I seem to acquire
whenever the moon is full and bright.
And all becomes perfectly clearer, and not murky and muddy,
as it oft-times is…
The look within every one’s eyes and their incoherent whispering.
Am I to be concerned? Is having no recollection of current and
past events. An issue which is in need of verbal retribution
and retaliatory remarks.
Or am I to regret what I may have misconstrued after having
presumed without reasoning? Regardless I feel
the matter closed.
