A successful woman’s secret of success
When she was once asked to explain the secret of her success, a successful woman smiled with pride. Her response was that she began to succeed when she stopped fighting minor disputes with small people. The woman stated that she had given up fighting individuals who gossiped about her. She put an end to her feud with her in-laws. The woman ceased vying for attention. She gave up trying to live up to the public’s expectations of her.
The woman also stated that she had given up fighting for her own rights in the face of dumb people. She reserved such battles for individuals who had nothing else to fight for.
What the woman began to battle for were her dreams, vision, and ideas.
She ultimately admitted that the day she gave up on petty arguments was the day she began to succeed. The successful woman ended by remarking that certain disputes are simply not worth your effort.
