Dr Harshaa Seth, an Award-winning International Educationist and Woman Entrepreneur, has created ripples globally through her dedication, hard work and vision.
For the last 24 years, Dr Harshaa has been a Director & Founder of HICC Institute. She is well known for her contribution to girls’ Education and Women Empowerment, not only nationally but internationally as well. During these years, she has trained and empowered more than one lakh girls/women.
The Dream Project
Nothing could stop her from realising her dream project. Looking out of the window in deep thought, she says, ‘After working for six years, I felt stuck in a routine job. I always wanted to work as a Jewellery Designer and Educationist. To pursue my passion, I left my job. In 1996 I started working as a Jewelry designer for Films, TV shows and Ad films and started our Educational Institutes’.
With pride, she says, ‘Her family is her backbone and always supported her through thick and thin. For women entrepreneurs, it is necessary to get support from their families. It had not been easy for her when she says,’ She used her funds and savings to start the Institute. Within one year, she came up with proper planning and started her Educational Institutes in 1996.
Flag Bearer of Women Empowerment
At that time, women were facing problems of girls’ education, dowry, child marriage etc. She decided to work for girls’ Education & Women Empowerment. She focuses on Educational as well as Skill Development courses which will lead to financial independence for women.
Her main aim is to make women financially independent.

Dr Harshaa Seth writes a column in various newspapers & magazines regarding Girl’s Education, Women Entrepreneurship & Startup for women.
With a smile and satisfaction on her face, she says, ‘I am lucky and blessed because I never face partiality. In my job, because of my hard work and in my Institute, I get lots of love & appreciation from my students. I feel blessed as a Jewelry Designer for Films and TV shows, I keep myself updated with new trends, styles and designs. I enjoy my work so I don’t feel tired or stressed during work’.

For her undying spirit and the zest to conquer, she has been applauded for her immense contribution in the field of Education. She is honoured by many National and International Awards. She also got featured Globally on many platforms as a Global Inspirational Educationist. Her laurels have brought her international acclaim.

She features in IIW London, as an “Indian Inspirational Woman”. Also the Women Inspiring stories in 100 Inspirational women who are winning Lockdown through their work.
She is a recipient of the Super Women Role Models Award 2021 and the Most Influential Women 2020 Award by the Udgam foundation. Dr Harshaa Seth has the Women Entrepreneur Award by Maharashtra State function, Best Women Leader 2021 Award, Most Influential Women award 2021, Inspirational Women of 2021, SHE 2021, The Victor of women’s Award. She receives an award by the Women Intellects Award 2021, ” Mahila Bhushan Award” and ” Women Achievement Award”.

She receives GLOBAL NOW 21 CHANGEMAKER AWARD from London and the Rising Star Award. She has been a recipient of prestigious (TGLFA) The Global Library of Female Authors Texas, USA and “The Explorer Magazine” along with India’s Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modiji.

Guidance to the Path of Success
When asked about some tips she would like to share she says,’ In the initial stage of business don’t invest too much. Start with a small amount. Once you get confidence then take funding or a Bank loan. Don’t try a shortcut. Be honest and be ready for hard work. Hard work, Quality and Honesty are very important in business.
There is no Elevator for Success.
You have to take the Stairs!”
As a mother, she knows how to balance family and professional life. She says, ‘Once I am at home, I don’t discuss my office work. Try to give maximum time to my son and my family. I follow timelines to manage home and office. And it helps me to keep balance.
Twice or thrice a year I make travel plans with family. It helps to spend maximum time with them.
Dr Harshaa’s Contribution in Community Services / Social Work
Along with this, she is working for mentally challenged children. They have developed an app for these children.
She provides free training for underprivileged girls & women. Conducted skill development courses for women in rural areas & helped and guided them to start their startups. During this COVID-19, Pandemic she has trained 1500+ Girls / Women in the last six months. Among which 60% of students have started their startup and running it successfully. Many women have lost their job because of the pandemic. She helps them by Educating, Mentoring and guiding them to become an entrepreneur.
Dr Harshaa Seth believes that “Success is not an accident. It is hard work, perseverance, sacrifice & most of all Love for what are you doing!”
