My evasiveness,
referring to my adherence to one train of thought pertaining to
your enquire whilst I remain less
attentive.
I am not apologetic. In alluding to what
what you may feel
pertinent,
realising the implications,
thereof.
your every thought, your every emotion as previously revealed
within your eyes, the sadness envisioned within your
tears…
referring to thee, beatific, as thou art, thy touch
as wouldst a rose petal
wouldst be…
Thou art my adulation, evermore, an adoration, approachable
only in the evening.
Tis thy sadness I must attend to, thy soul withering
beyond an appearance found imaginable.
I wouldst drown within thy tears,
if only thou hast felt
my death
meaningful, thus giving thy soul sustenance…
she spake beneath a whisper in betwixt a tear, and I gazing
at her moonlit eyes being rather incommunicado,
feeling her advances wouldst quicken
my demise whilst she awaited
my reply.
Were I to be enslaved, fulfilling her every desire,
wouldst this make me a kept man,
a less of a man, and more
of a knave
leaving me to question my manliness whilst being subjected
to her requirements of pleasure
and pain.
Lost within a moment of silence, an elongated pause,
what sentences and paragraphs have been
written or spoke seem to have
escaped me;
the words which have become meaningless, the conversation
I could not fully grasp.
It seems I have lost the desire to concentrate,
Am I losing my mind in a futile attempt
to bring a sense
of clarity
to what has led to my confusion. I pray for guidance, there are
too many obstacles which I have been encountering
along the way.
