I never wanted to leave you. Isn’t there
whispering anything you can think of,
think of a defining
moment
which will bring me back to you. Had it actually happened, my
taking off. Could I have been alone in the dark imagining it?
Were it nothing
more,
but a dream. My grand Illusion, my grand illustriously illustrated,
grand illusion, if I were to further elaborate. Would I be
permitted to, add the visual
conception?
If, indeed one felt the concept worthy of mentioning.
You and I lying side by side, looking into each other’s eyes,
Leaves me to wonder. Are our thoughts ever the same?
To have arrived at another intersection. Am I to think of it as an
impasse, all of which remains
unresolved?
He said she said proclamations which all will have become
meaningless within a period of time, the shouting
ad pouting and the look within each
other’s eyes…
Would it have evolved into a favourite memory or remembrance?
everyone will have prayed for it to have remained forgotten.
I tend to feel it would be the latter, wouldn’t you agree, we all
being civilized to an extent, at this conjunction where
everyone’s paths have
crossed
If I were to refer to everyone’s imprudence, were it considered
trivial, it would not have been written off, for truly it was
and should have been defined as being
as such,
but for it to have been blown out of proportion and becoming
the issue as it had become, this incident, now written off.
Let’s be done with it. Sweep it under
the rug.
