Intensely blue eyes

Intensely blue; a distant remembrance of she, the colouring

of her eyes and I finding, I have been

captivated by

them,

their allurement, which drew me closer to her,

an elusive one, fading as would

a shadow

wandering beneath a full moon within the dark. Is a memory

to be as such, encapsulated within

a tear?

She were the gravity to which I clung, without her, I am fearful of

floating aimlessly, losing myself within

the upper stratosphere…

To have recollected where I once tread, the paths precariously

taken, remembering the obstacles I attempted

to circumvent, my awkward

footsteps.

To not have stumbled, as many times, I have after, and surprisingly

surviving unscathed and intact, filling the day

with sheer wonderment,

leaving

me awestruck…

Realizing it were a moment never could I relive, knowing now

what I did not then, the magnitude of it all,

I find life most precious, every

moment left.
