Intriguing

Your eyes, starlight, silvery streaks wavering amongst the specks

of blue and gold. It is as though you have held the night within

them.

I find your eyes an intoxication…

I cannot help, but to keep breathing the image in.

Somewhat of an impish smile, softly whispering, stay awhile,

her eyes aglow, fragrant as a rose. A memorable evening,

alluring and enchanting, the look of love within

her eyes.

Moonlight and madness, far from the madding crowd

and the chaos which surely would ensue,

she and I dancing beneath

the light of a full

moon.

If it

were a dream, wouldst be a dream I wouldst not want to awaken,

our hearts timed to the beat of

a drum.

Evening tide, the night, she and I lost within each other’s eyes.
