Pardon my intrusión, I could not help but to have noticed you, something about the look within your eyes, that look of
familiarity, have a met
previously,
within a dream, perhaps….
To have remained silent as we passed each other by, I felt would
have been a detriment, realising the implications, our living
different lives within a parallel increment
of time.
Were you once one whom had rescued me when I were at my
weakest, the one I found drowning within your tears within
another period of time. Have we met
by happenstance,
or were our meetings intricately planned, referring to my feeling
we had met previously, or am I imagining what was meant
to be.
Were you once the Queen of Hearts, a fair maiden in distress,
a lost soul wandering aimlessly, were you once
one of these?
Pray tell, if this were so.
it our destiny, our finding each other and losing sight of ourselves
within a blink of an eye. Am I to wonder about the years gone by?
These tears we have wept, fall
How many more tears are we to weep? Until we cannot weep anymore? Leaves me to wonder…
Within the night I have held you. Within the night I have reached
for you. Within the night I have left you, And always,
always, have I regretted having done so.
