To write as you do, in non-sequitur thoughts,
which does not relate to
a normative,
I feel is a form of abstract reasoning, but to envision vividly
what you have written, pertaining to the images
and emotions within the
words
and sentences, therein, enhances the beauty of what I have read,
the realization of whom you are encapsulated within
the tears you have silently
wept
as you become what you have written. If only I could write
as you do, to have felt what you have
written of…
To have written of a rose, it’s colouring a deepened scarlet red,
inhaling the roses’ alluring fragrance and pricked
by the roses’ thorn.
There is a pain one feels, the realisation of your
sorrows and regrets, the pieces of you,
unwantingly revealed,
feeling
as though you have lost a precious part of you, a treasure chest of memories meticulously kept, as if
you felt a rose silently
withering.
