Remembering
my recurring lunacy, its oft-times unwelcomed arrival, referring to
my insanity, periodic, as it was, I found it quite problematic
and somewhat of an embarrassment,
the short-term
effect
which had left me within a delusional state of mind…
the reclamation of my sordid soul, the spiritual element of one’s
self believed, by some, to be
immortal…
Is it the emotional energy I have grown accustomed to, that part
of me which remained intricately woven into my
existence.
Without it, I will become eternally lost, as so many others have become before
me.
A continuance, if one were to carry on, contingent, of course
upon their continued
existence.
We live in the present, yet so much of our time is spent living
in the past, the moments which have recently
passed…
Yesterdays of our lives which ever so suddenly have passed us by.
The present is, but a mere moment, what is happening now,
this very instant, and yet, the present is a
continuance,
while at the same time we may be aware of what may happen next,
our next step, sometimes our lives become dependent
upon that,
what we may or may not do. Turning right and not turning left…
Choosing to stay and not to go.
Coming to a complete and full stop and not running that red light.
We make decisions which will affect our future, our entire lifetime.
It may be the difference in our living and our dying.
The past is a collection of our thoughts, memories, smiles and tear.
We reflect upon what we have or have not done.
The proverbial what
if’s…
remember those whom have entered or have left within our lives…
The past is an image within a photograph, the present is taking that photograph this very instant and within all of this confusion
we think of our future, what may or may not
become of us.
