The thoughts we inherit from our predecessor’s preconceived
before our birth are written within their notes,
letters and epitaphs,
words
we often align ourselves to…
One’s mirrored
reflection.
In reality, an extension revealing one’s altered state.
What one perceives themselves
The subtle characteristics thereof, unconsciously revealed, though
comparatively small in descriptive detail; their
appearance viewed as being
somewhat
distorted and relatively indistinct, the manner in which one’s
eyes turn toward a flaw no matter how minuscule
or small,
assuming one has reached a heightened sense of normalcy
and an attuned sense of awareness whilst retaining
a semblance of perfection
referring to
the illusion lying within a mirrored glass whilst portraying
a sense of indiscretion, however deranged
one has become…
For you to have become lost and left within yourself reaching,
one would find somewhat alarming, considering all
of which has been withheld.
Leaving out what one would define as being pertinent, intuitive,
as we all are and being quite inquisitive, lest it become
little or no importance, pertaining to
what we may have
become…
Never have I portrayed me to be more than I am, referring to
my meager existence.
A visual perception of my fate, one I have grown accustomed to
whenever hiding behind my facade.
