A well-known singer and actress Mamta Solanki playing the main lead in the film talks to the Times of India. With an incessant hectic schedule in promotions, press conferences, and premiers; we saw a spark in her eyes when shared the journey-making of the film.
She goes into nostalgia and says she was playing the lead role of Manjari Madi in a Gujarati show on colors “Suri Lavashe Sapnani Sawar”. Her character and acting were very well appreciated. From there she was contacted by the team of Mane Lai Ja. Director Niranjan Sharma narrated the script to her in detail. And she immediately decided to go ahead with the project.
Her character Poonam is one of the centric characters with mixed shades. She adopts a sweet girl and later there comes a roller coaster ride of emotions. She got a brilliant chance to showcase her acting skills. “Why would I say no to such a performance-oriented story?” She says with a big smile.
About the film, she says that this is a very emotional and heartening film. The movie got released last Friday and is very well accepted by the audience. Not only the general public but some senior artists and celebs also sounded positive about the film.
Her takeaway from the movie is that a woman has the power not only to uplift society but she can lower the standards also. The choice is hers. Her message to the ladies is ” my dears take any decision very tactfully, your decision makes the world beautiful or miserable.”
Mamta is a new and talented face in the industry that can create magic on the screen. After showing her acting talent she is now coming up with her new song, Sath Nibhana hai to show her singing talent very soon. We wish her all the good luck for the brightest future.
