eyes, how they intrigue me, luminous, as they are, reflecting silver
strands of moonlight…
I find myself drowning within them. If not for you, I would be
surrounded within an all encompassing darkness.
For you to ave found me within the outer realm of your universe,
revolving around your sun.
You have become my centre of gravity.
Without your attraction, I would be floating about aimlessly
within the vast expanse of empty space.
Lowly, as I am, nothing more, but a mere speck of dust, clinging
to you as if you were the moon…
Rummaging through the pleasantries, sifting through a dream.
Would you like a cup of coffee as you recollect a memory…
-5:30 a.m….She lie half-awake, half-asleep, quietly stirring, utters
a shallow sigh. I trace a tear which has collected in the corner of
her eye.
So near to twilight, Moonlight softly whispering beyond our stain
glass window. A silhouette of she, sitting within a rising mist.
A scarlet red rose held gently within her hand.
The portrayal of her image carefully embedded within the various
colorings of translucent glass.
could devour you with those eyes of hers and leave nothing left,
but a partial impression of where her latest victim once stood.
-Some would blame it on the moon, her midnight madness, her
rendezvous within the dark, Others mentioned it was the air she
breathed, inhaling a breath of air demons had exhaled.
She morphing into one changing back to who she previously was.
That of a loved one she had taken the shape of….
she became extremely difficult to recognize, but the ones allowed
close to her always knew.
–Although, oft-times, they would draw away from her, if ever she
drew nearer. I tended to overlook her improprieties, her abnormal
behavior, which occurred irregularly, and without provocation…
Which she grew to relish. I time, I learnt to admire her veracity.
