Ajit Kumar Director, talks about love and breakups

My story is about passion, channeling energy, finding not one but three loves, and of course, moving on after a breakup.

I wish moving on was as easy as shown in advertisements. It is not. My experience may help someone who is going through a miserable breakup phase and wondering how to move on after a breakup.

It all started when I accomplished one of my dreams. I took admission in B.Tech Mechanical Engineering in Jaipur to pursue my love for automobiles. As college began, new friends entered my life, and new freedom gave me wings to fly. Facebook was new at that time, and we believed social media was the coolest thing for youngsters.

I did not know then that social media would bring love into my life.

First Love: Engineering, Automobiles, and College Dreams

My cousin created my Facebook profile, and I began exploring the internet. Like any young college student, I sent random friend requests to girls. One of them accepted.

My excitement knew no bounds. I quickly sent her a “Hi.”
Her reply came after three months, but I was still on cloud nine. I was happy just to see her message.

Her name was Shayana Saxena. She was preparing for PMT in Kota, and that is how our Facebook chats began.

During Diwali break, I was physically at home in Jaipur, but mentally I was somewhere else. I kept thinking about her. The signs of first love made me restless. Festival sweets lost their charm. I had no appetite. I was longing for her terribly.

I have always loved Diwali, but that year it felt incomplete without her.

I wanted to talk to her, but I did not have her contact details. My urge became stronger than my hesitation. Finally, I asked for her number on Facebook chat. She was reluctant. I was desperate.

When you long deeply enough, you take action. After requesting and persuading her, I finally got her number. I called and wished her “Happy Diwali.” That moment felt magical. Now I had another way to express my feelings.

Falling Deeply in Love and Experiencing Heartbreak

My young heart and emotions were strong. Talking to her daily for hours was not just routine. It became part of my life. I looked forward to her calls. We shared everything and spoke endlessly.

One New Year’s, I surprised her by reaching her hostel. She was shocked, and I was thrilled. Seeing her close to me felt unreal. She had dressed up beautifully. That evening felt special. We had dinner at a lovely place and spent quality time together.

But returning to Jaipur was painful. I wanted her to stop me. Tears rolled down my face. I realised I was deeply in love.

One day, unexpectedly, she told me that her real name was Juhi Sinha. In the same breath, she said, “I love you.”

I had been waiting to hear those words. Yet when I finally heard them, I was overwhelmed and disconnected the call in shock. I called her back soon after. Of course, I loved her too.

For two years, we shared a happy relationship. My visits to Kota became frequent. Life felt beautiful.

But love can be fragile.

After two years, she told me that what we had was just attraction, not love. Once again, I was shocked. I could not understand how two years of love could disappear in a moment.

Her advice hurt even more. She said, “You will find more success and a better girl.” She did not even look into my eyes while saying this. That goodbye was painful and unforgettable.

Getting dumped destroys your self-esteem. It traps you in memories. I cried endlessly. I avoided social interaction. I felt lost and broken.

How to Turn Pain into Success After Heatbreak

But life has to move on.

If one love broke me into pieces, I decided to pursue another love, my passion for automobiles. I focused on my career and concentrated on my projects. During this time, I met Ajit, who shared the same passion for cars.

We brainstormed innovative ideas together. Ajit suggested that we start our own company to train B.Tech, B.E., and M.Tech students on real-time projects. I thought about it seriously, and we began working towards it.

We developed and tested an ATV racing car. Even though I was not in touch with her for long, I felt the urge to share my achievement with Juhi. I realised I had not fully let her go. But her cold response shattered my remaining expectations.

Still, I did not give up.

We officially registered our company, Auto Tech Expert Group OPC Pvt Ltd, and received approval from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. Ajit Kumar became the Director, and I became the Regional Manager.

As a college startup, we faced many challenges. There were failures, doubts, and struggles. But we continued. We completed multiple innovative projects and received appreciation from our college Principal, HoD, TPO, and Director.

When the Past Returns After You Have Moved On

While conducting seminars at TMU and MIT Moradabad and updating photos and videos on social media, I received a call from Kolkata.

It was Juhi.

For a moment, I was shocked and confused. My past was standing in front of me again. She asked about my life. I calmly told her to search for my company online. She disconnected abruptly and called back after a few minutes.

She congratulated me.

Then she hinted at coming back into my life.

But I had changed.

Her rejection had forced me to discover my potential. Her humiliating words pushed me to uncover the diamond within me. Her goodbye became my turning point.

That is when I realised something powerful.

I found three loves in my life.

My passion for automobiles.
My company and vision.
And someone special who supported me during my struggling days while I was building my dreams.

Breakup Motivation: My Message to Anyone Facing Tough Times

In life, there are moments when you feel you have no option except to give up. But trust me, every difficult situation carries an opportunity to become better.

Heartbreak can break you. But it can also build you.

Sometimes, moving on after a breakup is not about forgetting someone. It is about becoming someone stronger.

Nonetheless, I am grateful to Juhi Sinha (My turning point), Arun Kumar (My friend), Ajit Kumar (My best friend/Story Writer, & Director, ATEG), Jyoti Singh (The best Pal), Nidhi (My story inspiration) and my darling sister ( Lakshita Singh Aka – Laddu) my real sister (Neha Agrawal) and last but not the least my parents and younger brother (Himanshu Agarwal).

Frequently Asked Questions About Moving On After a Breakup

How do I move on after a breakup when it still hurts?

Moving on after a breakup takes time. The first step is accepting the pain instead of avoiding it. Focus on rebuilding your routine, improving your skills, and investing energy in personal growth. Emotional healing begins when you stop chasing closure and start choosing progress.

How long does it take to move on after a breakup?

There is no fixed timeline for moving on after breakup. It depends on emotional attachment, memories, and mindset. Some people recover in months, while others take longer. Healing is not linear, and comparison slows recovery.

Can heartbreak actually lead to success?

Yes. Many heartbreak to success journeys begin when emotional pain is redirected into productivity. Breakups often push people to improve themselves, build careers, and rediscover passions they once ignored.

How can I deal with breakup pain in a healthy way?

To deal with breakup pain, avoid isolation. Stay connected with supportive people. Focus on physical health, career goals, and meaningful activities. Channel emotions into something constructive rather than suppressing them.

Is it normal to feel lost after a breakup?

Yes. Feeling confused, angry, or directionless is completely normal. Breakups affect identity and self-worth. Over time, clarity returns when you focus on self-growth instead of the past.
